Terms of Service
By signing in to PurgeQ you agree to these terms. They're intentionally short — read them once and you're done.
What PurgeQ is
PurgeQ is a community browser extension that lets you keep a personal list of FACEIT players you don't want to queue with, and optionally share that list with friends. The service is operated by an independent maintainer (the "operator", see contact below) and is not affiliated with FACEIT or its parent company.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PurgeQ — the same minimum age FACEIT requires. If you live in a jurisdiction that sets a higher digital-consent age (for example 16 in some EU countries), you must meet that age or have parental authorisation.
Your account
- You sign in with Discord. We rely on Discord's identity for who you are; we don't store a password.
- One account per Discord identity.
- Don't impersonate another person, share your account, or sell access to it.
- You're responsible for what's stored under your account, including the contents of bans and the people you invite to your banlist.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PurgeQ to harass, threaten, defame or stalk other players.
- Publish reasons that contain personal data, hate speech, or content that's illegal where you live.
- Mass-import lists you don't have the right to redistribute (e.g. scraped from other communities) without their consent.
- Try to bypass the rate limits, RLS policies, or bot-protection challenge.
- Reverse-engineer the SaaS backend with the intent of disrupting it.
We may suspend or delete an account that violates these rules — we will do so manually and only with cause.
User-generated content
When you create a ban entry, you grant PurgeQ a non-exclusive licence to store, replicate and show that entry only to you and to people you explicitly invite to your banlist. We never publish your bans publicly, sell them, or use them to train models.
You're responsible for what you store. If a ban entry contains defamatory content or personal data you weren't entitled to publish, the legal exposure is yours.
Service availability
PurgeQ is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The service runs on Supabase + Cloudflare; outages, planned maintenance or data loss can happen. There's no SLA. We recommend periodically exporting your data via Settings → Your data → Export my data.
Pricing
PurgeQ is free to use. If a paid tier ever launches, the free tier will keep working with reasonable limits, and you'll be notified in advance.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Your data → Delete account. The deletion is immediate and irreversible — it removes your profile, banlist, every ban you authored, your invites and memberships.
We can terminate or suspend access for serious violations of these terms or applicable law. We'll try to notify you when possible.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for what data we store, who it's shared with, and how to exercise your GDPR rights.
Changes to these terms
Any future change is reflected in TERMS.md in the public repository. Significant changes will also be announced in the GitHub releases. The "Last updated" date is revised when content changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that can't be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the operator's place of residence.
